Made in collaboration with the MFPA, Turnabout: An Ace Attorney Music Video was created as an homage to the franchise's retro-camp aesthetics and the vibrant worlds of musical theater and film.
Color played a major role in this project. From costume design to shooting in Blackmagic RAW, every part needed to pop.
As it was my first time directing such a large-scale production—and on a time constraint no less—it was no easy task. Due to circumstances, I was the only one able to work behind the scenes, so I handled casting, location scouting, costume design, storyboarding, shooting, and editing. With only opportunity for one take, and so much on my plate, planning, learning to take setbacks in stride, and researching new technology that could improve our production became essential.
As technology developed, it became time for a remaster. I created more vibrant and accurate colors using up-and-coming technological innovations such as Davinci’s relight effect, crafted a new logo and thumbnail to match TAAAM's, and finished it off with a new credit sequence using custom motion graphics.
The results speak for themselves: a vibrant video filled with creative editing, long takes, and a deep adoration for the source material.

Commercial Short Film | 2022
Short film commissioned by Ishanya Dance, retelling the owner's journey into fitness education and mental health.
Co-Director. Post Producer. Videographer. Sound Designer.
-
Used: Premiere Pro. Black Magic Ursa.
———
Commissioned by the owner of Ishanya dance, this project was completed in LOG format, producing an upbeat, motivational video that encourages others to embark on their own fitness journeys and support their goals.
Due to difficulty with the client, my communication skills, and my vision for the final product, I took over directing halfway through the project. It was a big task due to the change in leadership, as I had to develop new ways to translate the client’s desires into a visual medium.
Runner was screened for a large group of local organizations and small businesses at the end of its production, featuring snappy editing that showcases fitness progression over time.
Lasergun!
Parody Short Film Trailer | 2021
Comedic Concept Trailer inspired by 70s-80s sci-fi. One of four productions chosen to be greenlit for production.
Director. Producer. Videographer. Post Producer. VFX Specialist.
-
Used: Premiere Pro. After Effects. Davinci Resolve. Blender. Unreal Engine. Panasonic AG-HPX170.
———
During my first video production class, everyone was required to pitch a production. It was my pure enthusiasm and love of the medium that led to my project, LaserGun, becoming the most-voted-on project and one of four successfully greenlit.
I’d always been enamored with classic sci-fi and B-movies, and so, LaserGun! became my comedic way of paying homage to these genres. It was my first time directing others behind the scenes in a full-scale production. Not only was I guiding my teammates, but I was also teaching them new techniques. It was a balancing act of learning to communicate with different creative minds, each at a different stage in their personal growth.
Post-production was by far the most difficult part of this project, due to the use of green screens. I led the post-production team, using a range of software—including Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Blender, and Unreal Engine—to leverage each program's unique strengths and enhance the video's VFX, creating a crisp, comedic homage to classic sci-fi.

Disability PSA | 2021
PSA on the ableism young mobility aid users face, featuring real-life quotes collected from a panel of college-aged mobility aid users from across the U.S.
Director. Producer. Videographer. Post Producer.
-
About: Premiere Pro. Panasonic AG-HPX170.
———
Drawing from the personal stories of several young mobility aid users, this PSA highlights the unique ableism they face through direct quotes taken from their experiences.
In this project, I acted as director and cinematographer. Filming with a Panasonic AG-HPX170 to ensure high-quality visuals. Empathy and respect became critical at each stage of production, as did finding creative ways to tie the visuals to the messaging, using intense color grading and bokeh effects to ensure the end product carried a level of gravitas befitting the subject matter. The PSA is a powerful, somber piece that sheds light on a subject often ignored.

Filmed as my first video project, Dungen Dagons is an irreverently titled piece that captures the excitement and camaraderie of playing Dungeons and Dragons.
Made with the challenge of telling a story in under one minute. minute, it is a warmly lit love letter to collaborative storytelling and the simple act of gathering around a table and spending an afternoon rolling dice and being with friends.
